Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 large onions
- 1 cup rice (whole grain)
- 100 g soy, diced
- 4 tbsp paprika powder
- 1 cube of vegetable stock, without flavor enhancers
- Salt
- pepper
- possibly chili
- possibly spice mix (grill)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Let the soy cubes steep in hot, salted water for 30 minutes, then boil in hot water with a stock cube for 15 minutes (or prepare according to the package instructions). Cook the rice until tender. Finely chop the onion and fry with the soy cubes in hot oil, stirring well. When the onion is translucent, add the paprika and soy sauce and fry briefly. Then add the cooked rice, mix everything well, and season with salt, pepper, and/or chili. Tip: You can also add herbs to taste.
