Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 75 g soy granules (dry soy shreds)
  • 1 can tomato(s), chopped (400 g)
  • 2 small onions, red
  • 250 ml water
  • Vegetable broth, instant
  • oil
  • 1 pinch(s) brown sugar
  • 2 tsp tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • Garlic
  • e.g. Peperoncini

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Vegginese, quick, easy, vegan

Heat the water in a kettle and make the vegetable stock. Peel and finely dice the onions. Sauté in a little olive oil. Add the sugar and let it caramelize slightly. Add the soy chunks and pour in the vegetable stock. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes over low heat. Add the tomatoes and season with the spices and garlic. Bring everything back to a boil and let it simmer for a while. If you like, add a few chili peppers for extra flavor. Serve with pasta.
