Whole wheat pasta with pea and spinach sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g peas, frozen
  • 2 handfuls of baby spinach, fresh
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds, peeled
  • 230 g water
  • 250 g whole wheat pasta
  • some oil for frying

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, then drain. Dice the onion and sauté for 2 minutes over medium heat. Add the peas and sauté for another 2 minutes. Then add the spinach and continue sautéing until the spinach has wilted slightly. Blend the vegetables thoroughly with the remaining ingredients and pour the creamy sauce over the whole-wheat pasta. Depending on the desired consistency, you can add a splash of water during blending. Season to taste with salt, if necessary.
