- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 ½ pinch(s) salt
- 1 onion(s), yellow
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- n. B. Oat flakes, fine

Basic recipe for vegetarian kidney bean burgers
Open the can of kidney beans and drain the liquid. Place the beans in a bowl and mash with a fork and potato masher. Then, finely chop the onion and add it. Now add the salt and ketchup and stir in. Then, thicken with the oatmeal until it forms a firm, yet still kneadable, mash. Shape with a burger press or your hands and grill or fry in a griddle.
