Vermont Maple Cookies

The perfect vermont maple cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 110 g Butter
  • 220 g Whole wheat flour
  • 100 g Brown sugar
  • 1 piece Egg yolk
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 125 ml Maple syrup
  • 1 pinch Salt
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees upper and lower heat, line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Beat butter with sugar until creamy, add maple syrup and egg yolk. Then mix the flour with the baking powder and salt and fold in.
  2. From the dough, walnut-sized balls are now formed and placed on the baking sheet with a gap. Press the dough pieces flat with the spoon and then put them in the oven for about 10-15 minutes. Let cool down well and then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
