Vermont Maple Cookies

- 110 g Butter
- 220 g Whole wheat flour
- 100 g Brown sugar
- 1 piece Egg yolk
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 125 ml Maple syrup
- 1 pinch Salt
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees upper and lower heat, line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Beat butter with sugar until creamy, add maple syrup and egg yolk. Then mix the flour with the baking powder and salt and fold in.
- From the dough, walnut-sized balls are now formed and placed on the baking sheet with a gap. Press the dough pieces flat with the spoon and then put them in the oven for about 10-15 minutes. Let cool down well and then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
