Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 180 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 pack of rum – baking
  • 75 g dark chocolate
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 80 g flour
  • 150 g walnuts, candied
  • 200 g dark chocolate coating
  • 100 g walnuts, halved

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Similar to brownies

Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs, vanilla sugar, salt, and rum baking powder. Melt the chocolate over a bain-marie, stir in the flour mixed with the baking powder and sifted into the mixture. Roughly chop the candied walnuts and fold them into the batter (I make my own by melting 1-2 tablespoons of sugar in a pan, stirring in the walnuts, and letting the mixture cool). Grease a baking sheet and spread the batter on a 30 x 40 cm baking sheet (protect it with a baking frame or aluminum foil). Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 35 minutes. Cut into pieces of about 2 x 5 cm and let cool. Melt the chocolate coating, coat the cookies with it, and press the walnut halves into the still-moistened chocolate.
