Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp rum
  • 100 g walnuts, ground
  • 250 g flour
  • 4 tbsp apricot jam
  • 2 tbsp rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Mix the butter, sugar, and salt with the rum. Add the nuts and flour and knead in. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Roll out the dough thinly and cut out hearts. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and place the hearts on it. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for about 10 minutes. Mix the apricot jam with the rum and brush the cookies with it. Let cool.
