Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g walnuts, ground
  • 150 g walnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 60 g carrot(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 100 g oat flakes
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • 125 g cheese
  • 150 g potatoes
  • 100 ml water
  • 3 m.-sized eggs
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Walnut Pflanzerl

Finely chop the onion and sauté. Finely chop the garlic. Peel the potatoes. Coarsely grate the cheese, carrot, and potato. Mix all ingredients into a dough and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Form the dough into patties and fry them in oil on both sides.
