Ingredients
 

  • 150 g Butter
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 200 g Flour
  • 250 g Walnuts
  • 40 g Honey
  • 100 g Brown sugar
  • 100 ml Cream

Instructions
 

  • Beat 100 g butter, sugar and salt until frothy. Stir in the egg. Then work in the flour. Shape the dough into a ball and refrigerate for 45 to 60 minutes.
  • Roughly chop the walnuts. A few whole halves are allowed to be there. Bring the remaining butter (50 g), honey, brown sugar and cream to the boil in a saucepan. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in the walnuts and remove the pan from the heat.
  • Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Line a springform pan (diameter 26 or 28 cm) with baking paper on the bottom. Now roll out the dough between two pieces of cling film the size of the springform pan and line the form with the rolled out dough. Pre-bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
  • Briefly take the springform pan out of the oven and spread the walnut mixture on the dough. Like put in the oven and bake for between 15 and 20 minutes. Take out of the oven and let cool completely in the tin. Then cut into pieces with a sharp knife. Makes 20 to 28 walnut snacks, depending on size.
