Watercress salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g watercress
  • ½ melon(s) (cantaloupe melon)
  • 3 bulb(s)
  • 100 g blue cheese
  • 2 lemons
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 12 cherry tomatoes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

just something different

Peel the pears and cut into sticks. Squeeze over the juice of one lemon. Wash the watercress and arrange on plates. Scoop out small balls from the melon or dice the flesh (but it doesn’t look as nice). Dice the cheese and halve the tomatoes. Arrange the pear, melon, tomatoes, and cheese on top of the watercress. Mix the other lemon and olive oil together to make a dressing and season with salt and pepper. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and serve.
