Watermelon Banana Buttermilk Shake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g watermelon(s), cut into small cubes, only the pulp is weighed
  • ½ m.-sized banana(s), ripe
  • 300 ml buttermilk
  • 200 ml low-fat milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

nicely sour and refreshing

Place the chopped melon flesh and the sliced banana in a tall bowl and blend until smooth. Add the buttermilk and milk and continue blending until frothy. Pour into tall glasses and serve ice-cold, using a straw if desired. The shake doesn’t need any added sweetener, as the banana is quite sweet, and so is the melon, of course. The shake tastes refreshing, especially in warm weather, thanks to the acidity of the buttermilk.
