  • ½ melon(s) (watermelon, approx. 800 g)
  • 3 scoops of ice cream (vanilla ice cream)
  • 3 bananas

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Remove the watermelon flesh from the rind. Place the red flesh in a blender and blend vigorously until the melon is liquid. If there are any seeds in the flesh, just blend in. Then pour the juice through a fine sieve and press it through the sieve with a spoon. Discard the seeds and any larger pieces. Refrigerate the resulting juice for one hour. In the meantime, peel the bananas and dice them into small cubes. Then place a scoop of vanilla ice cream in each glass and top with a banana. Pour the watermelon juice over the juice and serve with a spoon and straw.
