White Bean Salad from Turkey (Beyaz Fasülye Salatası)
The perfect white bean salad from turkey (beyaz fasülye salatası) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
for the salad
- 1 Can White beans / Beyaz Fasülye, approx. 800 gr.
- 200 g Diced cherry tomatoes
- 15 Green or black olives without stones
- 2 Spring onions fresh, cut
- 1/2 Bund gehackte Glattpetersilie
for the marinade
- 6 tbsp Cold pressed olive oil
- 4 tbsp Red wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 Finely chopped clove of garlic
- 1 tsp Rose paprika powder or Pul Biber
- 1 Tl Savory spice
- 1/2 teaspoon each of coarse sea salt and ground black pepper
- 1 Msp Ground cumin
- Mix the ingredients for the dressing together in a large bowl. Drain white beans and rinse under running water. Cut the pitted olives into fine slices, as well as the cleaned spring onions.
- Put the salad ingredients together and mix gently into the marinade. Let it steep for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, decorate with the chopped parsley and serve.
