White Bean Salad from Turkey (Beyaz Fasülye Salatası)

for the salad

  • 1 Can White beans / Beyaz Fasülye, approx. 800 gr.
  • 200 g Diced cherry tomatoes
  • 15 Green or black olives without stones
  • 2 Spring onions fresh, cut
  • 1/2 Bund gehackte Glattpetersilie

for the marinade

  • 6 tbsp Cold pressed olive oil
  • 4 tbsp Red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 Finely chopped clove of garlic
  • 1 tsp Rose paprika powder or Pul Biber
  • 1 Tl Savory spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon each of coarse sea salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 Msp Ground cumin
  1. Mix the ingredients for the dressing together in a large bowl. Drain white beans and rinse under running water. Cut the pitted olives into fine slices, as well as the cleaned spring onions.
  2. Put the salad ingredients together and mix gently into the marinade. Let it steep for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, decorate with the chopped parsley and serve.
