Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 225 g wheat flour
  • 225 g wheat flour (wholemeal)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp oil, not olive oil
  • 420 ml buttermilk
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with buttermilk and baking soda

Combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Make a well in the flour and pour in the oil and 3/4 of the buttermilk. Mix to form a soft dough. The dough should not be sticky. If it drips off the spoon, add more flour. If it sticks to the spoon, add more buttermilk. Pour the dough into a greased baking pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 210°C for about 45 minutes.
