Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 450 ml water, lukewarm
  • 1 cube of yeast, fresh
  • 250 g wholemeal rye flour
  • 250 g spelt flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 50 g sesame seeds
  • 50 g oat flakes
  • 50 g flaxseed
  • Fat for the mold
  • Oat flakes for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

super quick and easy wholemeal bread

Stir the crumbled yeast into the lukewarm water. Add the flour, salt, vinegar, sesame seeds, oats, and flaxseeds and mix everything with a wooden spoon. Sprinkle some oats into the greased loaf pan, pour in the dough, score the top, and sprinkle with some more oats or pumpkin seeds (whichever you have on hand). Place the bread in a cold oven. Set the temperature to 200°C and bake the bread for 60 minutes. This recipe is very versatile; try adding chili flakes, herbs, or grated vegetables, for example. Your imagination is almost limitless.
