Why You Should Definitely Eat Nuts Every Day

Nutritionist Svitlana Fus shared on her Instagram what you should definitely include in your diet.

According to the expert, Ukrainians should eat nuts. Nuts are a concentrated source of nutrients (vitamins, minerals, fiber).

They contain a lot of fat (50-65 g per 100 g of product). A significant part of the fats in nuts are valuable mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids belonging to the omega-9, omega-3, and omega-6 groups. Therefore, nuts have a positive effect on the functioning of the cardiovascular system and brain.

How many nuts to eat per day

“You need to eat a handful of nuts a day. This is about 30 grams per day,” the nutritionist says.

If possible, buy nuts in the shell, as it protects valuable fats and vitamin E from oxidation. You should eat nuts only raw, separately from chocolate and sweets.

Remember, drying nuts is another big mistake in modern nutrition, as high temperatures destroy fats and reduce vitamin content.
