Wild boar in red wine

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg game meat (wild boar)
  • 1 liter red wine
  • 1 liter of water
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Season the wild boar roast with salt and pepper and place it in a casserole dish or roasting pan with a lid. Cover with red wine and water and braise in a preheated oven at 175°C for approximately 2 hours. Serve with red cabbage and potatoes or mashed potatoes.
