Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 1/2 packs of puff pastry (roll, from the refrigerated section) approx. 400 g
  • 150 g cream cheese, natural or with herbs
  • 150 g ham, cooked, chopped
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 g cheese, grated
  • 1 handful of wild garlic, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 egg(s), for brushing

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

made quick and easy

Mix together the cream cheese, ham, egg, cheese, and wild garlic and season lightly with salt and pepper. Cut the puff pastry into squares or rectangles, add some of the filling, and fold over. Press the edges together firmly. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the ‘Tascherl’ on it. Beat the egg to coat the ‘Tascherl’. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 15-20 minutes. Serve with salad.
