Wild Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 0.7 liters of balsamic vinegar bianco
  • 500 g strawberries (wild strawberries), fresh
  • 5 tbsp vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 32 minutes

Rinse and wash the strawberries and place them in a saucepan with the balsamic vinegar and vanilla sugar. Simmer the strawberries for about 12 minutes. Dissolve the vanilla sugar in the balsamic vinegar while cooking, stirring occasionally. Strain the balsamic vinegar through a fine sieve into sterile bottles.
