Wok noodles with turkey and vegetables

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g turkey meat, cut into strips
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 275 ml water, warm
  • 250 g wok noodles
  • 3 tbsp soybean oil
  • 1 can vegetable mix China style
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce (Ketjap Asin)
  • 1 tsp Chinese spice
  • 1 ½ tsp sambal oelek
  • 2 drops of Tabasco

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Clean, halve, wash, and finely chop the leeks. Cut the bell peppers into thin strips. Drain the mixed vegetables. Mix the turkey breast strips with the sambal oelek, ketjap asin, and Chinese seasoning mix and let stand for 20 minutes. Heat the soybean oil in a wok and fry the turkey breast strips, stirring constantly. Briefly fry the leeks. Add the warm water and the wok noodles. Stir in the wok with two wooden spoons until the water is completely absorbed by the noodles. Then stir in the bell peppers and the drained mixed vegetables and simmer for another 3-4 minutes. Season to taste. Tabasco adds a little more spice.
