Wrapped in Mozzarella
The perfect wrapped in mozzarella recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 piece Small slices of toast
- 1 Pc. Mozzarella
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Some flour
- Salt
- Pepper
- Some cold water
- Place egg and milk in a deep plate, season with salt and pepper and stir well. Put the flour on a flat plate.
- Cut the mozarella in half horizontally. Place one half of the mozzarella each on a slice of toast and place the other slices on top of the mozzarella (sandwich system)
- Dip the edges of the toast briefly in cold water and then press together.
- First press the bread from both sides into the flour and then dip into the egg mixture.
- Put the oil in a coated pan and heat it up.
- Put the bread in it and fry it until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve warm. It doesn’t taste cold.
- You can also add a crushed garlic clove to the egg mixture 😉
