Wrapped in Mozzarella

The perfect wrapped in mozzarella recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 piece Small slices of toast
  • 1 Pc. Mozzarella
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Milk
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Some flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Some cold water
  1. Place egg and milk in a deep plate, season with salt and pepper and stir well. Put the flour on a flat plate.
  2. Cut the mozarella in half horizontally. Place one half of the mozzarella each on a slice of toast and place the other slices on top of the mozzarella (sandwich system)
  3. Dip the edges of the toast briefly in cold water and then press together.
  4. First press the bread from both sides into the flour and then dip into the egg mixture.
  5. Put the oil in a coated pan and heat it up.
  6. Put the bread in it and fry it until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Serve warm. It doesn’t taste cold.
  8. You can also add a crushed garlic clove to the egg mixture 😉
