Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g flour (wheat flour)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp Clarified butter, (soft)
  • 5 tbsp water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Basic recipe

Mix the ingredients into a dough, cover, and let rest for about half an hour. Roll out on a floured surface into flatbreads, about 20 cm in diameter. Heat a dry pan and cook the flatbreads for 1-2 minutes on each side over medium heat until light brown. When they puff up, flatten them with a tea towel. Wrap the finished flatbreads in a damp tea towel to make them more malleable. Keep warm in the oven, if desired, and then top with your favorite toppings.
