Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g rice, cooked, warm
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • some sesame oil
  • some soy sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Baked Japanese rice balls with soy sauce

In a bowl, season the rice with soy sauce and sesame seeds. Using your hands and a little sesame oil, form the rice into balls. Brush the balls with more soy sauce, add them to the hot pan, and fry until lightly browned on all sides.
