Yellow sausage salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 2 small onions
  • 1 piece(s) sausage (yellow sausage)
  • 50 ml soy sauce
  • some palm sugar
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 2 small chili peppers (Tha chili) or more to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Thai – very spicy

Quarter the cucumber and yellow sausage and cut into thin slices. Thinly slice the onion and dice the tomatoes. Place everything in a bowl. Finely chop or pound some fresh Thai chilies (be careful, they’re hot! Think carefully about how many you want!). Put the soy sauce and chilies in a separate bowl, squeeze the lemon and add the juice, and stir in a pinch of palm sugar. If the taste is too strong of soy sauce, you can dilute it with a little water. Then mix everything together. The salad tastes really good if you let it sit for a while.
