Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 450 g wheat flour
  • ½ cup milk, lukewarm
  • 200 g natural yogurt
  • 70 g sunflower seeds
  • 50 g fried onions
  • 50 g butter, liquid
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 50 g almond(s), ground
  • 1 bag(s) of yeast

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

First, knead the flour with the milk, yeast, yogurt, melted butter, and 2/3 each of the sunflower seeds, almonds, and fried onions to form a dough. Then let the dough rest for 30 minutes in a warm place (test after 30 minutes). Then roll out on a light layer of flour and shape into 12-16 rolls. Use the remaining seeds and onions to roll the rolls in again. Then let them rise again in the oven at 50 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes. Then preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius and bake for around 25 minutes, until golden brown. They taste great with herb quark, but also with sweet dishes.
