Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg zucchini
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 2 onions
  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 200 ml broth (granulated)
  • basil
  • herbal salt
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • Cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the unpeeled zucchini into finger-thick slices and fry them in the oil on both sides. Season the fried slices with salt and pepper and place them in a greased baking dish. Sauté the diced onion in the oil, peel the tomatoes, chop them, and add them to the broth. Cover and simmer. Crush the garlic cloves and add them to the sauce. Season with basil and salt. Pour this sauce over the zucchini slices, sprinkle with grated cheese, and bake in the preheated oven for about 20-30 minutes.
