Zucchini-feta skewers with anti-vampire marinade

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 thick zucchini
  • 1 pack of feta cheese, 200 g
  • some olive oil
  • n. B. garlic
  • n. B. herbs, frozen 8-herb mixture
  • n. B. onion(s)
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 12 hours 35 minutes

ideal for parties and buffets

Wash and dry the zucchini. Using a vegetable peeler, peel strips from top to bottom and set them aside flat on a plate. Cut the feta into cubes the same width as the zucchini strips and wrap them around the zucchini strips. Secure with a toothpick. Mix the oil, herbs, spices, garlic, and diced onion and pour over the skewers. Cover and let marinate for several hours or overnight. Brown well before serving until the cheese softens slightly. Can also be grilled.
