Zucchini Mince Casserole with Cheese Crust

The perfect zucchini mince casserole with cheese crust recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1000 g Zucchini
  • 500 g Mixed minced meat
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Egg
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp Chopped rosemary
  • 1 tsp Oregano chopped
  • 0,5 tsp Cinnamon
  • 100 ml Sour cream 10% fat
  • 1 packet Cheese-Cream sauce
  • 50 g Grated cheese
  1. Grease a baking dish and sprinkle the bottom and sides with breadcrumbs.
  2. Wash the zucchini and cut into slices or 2 zucchini into large pieces. Now briefly blanch the zucchini, drain and lay out in the form.
  3. Season the minced meat with egg, onion, finely chopped, salt, pepper, rosemary, oregano, cinnamon and sour cream. Mix the mixture well and place on the zucchini. Pour the creamy cheese sauce over it and put some grated cheese on top.
  4. Bake the casserole in the oven (middle rack) at 225 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. There is also rice. If you like, you can add a tomato sauce to it, it’s a matter of taste.
