Casserole: Potato and Zucchini Gratin with Top of Sheep’s Cheese

The perfect casserole: potato and zucchini gratin with top of sheep’s cheese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 piece Potato
  • 1 piece Zucchino, small
  • 50 g Sheep cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Sour cream
  • 50 ml Cream 10% fat
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Process the sheep’s cheese with sour cream and cream into a smooth cream. Season with salt (carefully) and pepper.
  2. Peel the potato. Cut the zucchino and potatoes into thin slices.
  3. In a 1-man (woman) casserole dish, first put some of the sheep’s cheese cream and then a layer of potatoes, then the zucchini slices and now again potatoes. Finish with the cream.
  4. Cover and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. Remove the cover for the last ten minutes.
  5. Arrange the gratin on warmed plates and serve with tomato salad or something similar. Of course, this gratin is also suitable as a side dish.
