2-ingredient Chocolate Cake

The perfect 2-ingredient chocolate cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 piece Eggs
  • 165 g Chocolate bars
  1. Separate egg whites and yolks in two bowls (large and small): put egg whites in the large bowl and place in the refrigerator.
  2. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
  3. Put the chocolate in a large bowl and melt over a double boiler. Stir until creamy.
  4. Beat the egg whites with the mixer until stiff.
  5. When the chocolate has cooled down, stir in the three egg yolks first, then use a whisk to stir in a third of the egg whites. Fold in the rest of the egg whites in two steps with a spatula.
  6. Line the baking pan with baking paper and pour in the mixture. Shake the mold gently so that no air bubbles form. Bake at 170 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
  7. Let cool in the tin and then let cool down on a wire rack without a mold.
  8. Decorate with powdered sugar. Finished!
