  • 1 pack of Gorgonzola, approx. 150 g each
  • 100 g cream cheese, with additional flavor if desired
  • some milk
  • n. B. herbs, e.g. oregano and thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 pack of tarte flambée dough, approx. 400 g each, homemade if desired
  • 1 pack of grated cheese, approx. 200 g

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

simple, vegetarian

Cut the feta and Gorgonzola into small cubes, mash them, and mix with the cream cheese and a little milk until you have a spreadable mixture. Season the mixture with herbs and spices, using salt sparingly. Slice the tomatoes and onion. Roll out the tarte flambée dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread with the mixture. Arrange the tomato and onion slices on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake the tarte flambée at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20-30 minutes, until the dough is nice and crispy and the cheese is golden brown. This recipe was a spontaneous development after I had to use up the tomatoes and didn’t have any eggs, crème fraîche, or anything similar in the house.
