Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 peppers, red and green
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 2 packs of Maultasche(s), from the refrigerated section
- ½ broccoli
- ½ ring/s of meat sausage
- 1 chili pepper(s)
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder
- oregano
- Tabasco
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
Cut the Maultaschen into small slices. Deseed, wash, and dice the bell peppers. Trim the broccoli and chop the florets. Chop the garlic and onions. Halve the sausage ring and dice one half. Cut the chili pepper into small rings. Grease a deep pan with plenty of oil or cooking fat and heat over the highest heat. Add the Maultaschen strips to the hot pan and season to taste (with paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, Tabasco). Once the Maultaschen have taken on some color, add the sausage to the pan. Brown again vigorously. Finally, add the vegetables and chili to the pan and sauté for a few minutes, but on a low heat, as otherwise the broccoli will become very dry. Season to taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
