Plum Dumplings

The perfect plum dumplings recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 tablespoon Flour
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Plums
  • Marzipan
  • Butter
  1. Boil the potatoes with the skin on, peel and press through the potato press, mix with egg, flour and salt.
  2. Shape into a roll on a floured board, cut into slices.
  3. Core the plums, put the marzipan in the middle, place the plum on some dough and shape into a dumpling
  4. Put the dumplings in slightly boiling salted water, when the dumplings rise they are done, let them infuse for a while.
  5. Melt the butter with sugar and cinnamon and gently caramelize.
