Plum Dumplings
The perfect plum dumplings recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Potatoes
- 1 Egg
- 3 tablespoon Flour
- Salt
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
- Plums
- Marzipan
- Butter
- Boil the potatoes with the skin on, peel and press through the potato press, mix with egg, flour and salt.
- Shape into a roll on a floured board, cut into slices.
- Core the plums, put the marzipan in the middle, place the plum on some dough and shape into a dumpling
- Put the dumplings in slightly boiling salted water, when the dumplings rise they are done, let them infuse for a while.
- Melt the butter with sugar and cinnamon and gently caramelize.
- Put the dumplings on a plate, pour over the sugar-cinnamon mixture and enjoy.
