Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 400 g spaetzle, fresh
- 400 ml cream
- 200 g grated cheese, e.g. Edam
- 1 bunch of spring onions
- Fat for frying
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Slice the spring onions into rings and fry them in a large pan. Add the cream and bring to a boil. Add the grated cheese, season with salt and pepper, and simmer briefly over medium heat. Fold in the fresh spaetzle. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 10 minutes at 180°C fan-assisted oven (200°C top/bottom heat).
