Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of frozen puff pastry
  • 1 egg(s)
  • some paprika powder, hot
  • some salt
  • n. B. herbs
  • possibly caraway
  • possibly cheese
  • possibly chili

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

to beer and wine in slight variations

Lightly roll out the puff pastry and cut out shapes using medium-sized cutters (moons, hearts, etc.). Place these on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 160°C. Beat the egg and brush it over the puff pastry. Sprinkle with hot paprika, salt, and optionally dried or fresh herbs. I’ve also seasoned them with caraway, chili, and cheese. Bake for about 12-15 minutes using top/bottom heat.
