Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g margarine
- 200 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 pack of gingerbread spice
- 2 tbsp cocoa
- 350 g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- Grease for the tray
- Cake icing (chocolate icing) or
- e.g. powdered sugar
- some cocoa powder
- e.g. milk
- Sprinkles (colored sugar sprinkles) for garnishing
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Spice cake for baking beginners
Combine the ingredients in a smooth batter. Spread onto a greased baking sheet and bake at 180°C for 40–55 minutes. Once the cake has cooled, decorate with chocolate icing and colorful sprinkles, or make a frosting with powdered sugar, cocoa, and milk. Decorate with sprinkles as well.
