Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter (room temperature)
  • 200 g yogurt
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 lemon(s) (zest and juice)
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 3 eggs
  • 300 g flour
  • 30 g cornstarch
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 4 pinches of salt
  • 250 g powdered sugar
  • 40 g lemon juice
  • 20 g protein
  • some chocolate decoration (drops)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Cream the butter, yogurt, sugar, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, and lemon zest with a hand mixer until creamy. Gradually beat in the egg yolks and eggs. Sift the flour, baking powder, cornstarch, and salt over the mixture and mix everything into a smooth batter. Pour the batter into a greased ring tin and bake in an oven preheated to 175°C for about 45 minutes. Remove from the oven, let rest for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool. For the glaze, mix together the icing sugar, lemon juice, and egg white and spread over the cake. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the glaze.
