Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 2 apples, peeled, pitted
- 500 g butter, room temperature
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mustard seeds
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Coarsely grate the prepared apples. Slowly reduce the heat to low with the apple juice, soy sauce, mustard seeds, and salt until all the liquid has evaporated and the mustard seeds are soft. Cream the butter in a tall bowl with a mixer until fluffy. Fold the cooled apple mixture into the fluffy butter.
