Apple and plum chutney

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g apples, unripe, peeled, pitted and sliced
  • 1 ½ kg plum(s), quartered
  • 3 cloves garlic, grated (optional!)
  • 100 g raisins
  • 500 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 300 g gelling sugar
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • Chili pepper(s), finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Bring everything to a boil in a large pot and simmer for at least 30 minutes. Stir well and pour into prepared jars, seal immediately, and place lids on top. Tip: Cinnamon and ginger can be substituted with other spices of your choice!
