Homemade Buffalo Sauce

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g lentils, red
  • 150 ml vegetable stock
  • 60 ml white wine vinegar
  • 60 ml sauce (hot sauce), e.g. B. Tabasco
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp raw cane sugar
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • some salt to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Bring the lentils to a boil in plenty of water and simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool slightly. Blend the lentils with the remaining ingredients in a blender until smooth. If the sauce is too thick, thin with a little water. Finally, season the sauce with salt to taste.
