Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 375 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 175 g butter
  • 20 g almonds, ground
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 175 g cherry jam
  • 200 g milk chocolate coating
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

makes about 40 cookies

Combine 250g flour, 100g sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, egg, and 125g butter in a kneaded dough. Form into three logs approximately 3cm in diameter on a lightly floured surface and chill for 1 hour. Combine 75g flour, almonds, 50g butter, 50g sugar, and cinnamon with your hands until finely crumbled. Cut the logs into slices. Spread with cherry jam and sprinkle with the crumbles. Bake at 175–200°C for approximately 15 minutes. Dip one side into melted chocolate and let dry. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
