Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 150 g butter
- 1 egg(s)
- 4 apples
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- ½ pack of baking powder
- Butter for the mold
- possibly cinnamon powder

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Using a mixer, knead the flour with vanilla sugar, baking powder, egg, sugar, and butter. Cut the apples into smaller pieces (peel them if you like). Grease a cake pan (approx. 25 cm in diameter) with butter and press half of the dough into the pan for the base. Spread the apples evenly over the dough. Crumble the other half of the dough and sprinkle over the apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired. Bake the cake at 180°C (fan oven) for approx. 20 minutes, until lightly golden brown. Let it cool, but it can also be eaten lukewarm.
