Gorgonzola sauce with tomato

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 onions, diced
  • 150g Gorgonzola
  • 500 ml tomato(s), pureed, or diced pizza tomatoes (unseasoned)
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 100 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • paprika

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

with pasta or gnocchi

Sauté the diced onion in butter until translucent, then make a roux with the flour. Pour in the tomatoes and simmer. Crumble in the Gorgonzola and simmer until melted. Finally, add the cream and season with salt, pepper, and paprika – SENSATIONAL! Serve with pasta, gnocchi, or rice… Tip: also delicious cold on bread.
