Nougat cookies

Knead the ground hazelnuts with the flour, lemon zest, egg, sugar, and butter flakes into a smooth dough. Cover and chill for about an hour. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan-assisted oven). Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 4 mm thick. Cut out hearts, stars, etc. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes. Let cool. For the filling, chop the dark chocolate and melt it with the nougat in a bowl over a warm water bath. Spread the mixture over half of the hearts or stars. Place the other cookie halves on top and press down lightly. Roughly chop the milk chocolate and melt it in a bowl over a warm water bath. Place in a freezer bag and cut off a small corner. Use the chocolate to trace the outlines of the cookies. You can decorate the cookies with the milk chocolate if desired.
