Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter, soft
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar (bourbon vanilla sugar)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 250 g flour
  • e.g. jam (blackcurrant jelly)
  • 50 g icing sugar for dusting

Cream the butter until fluffy, gradually adding the sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg yolks. Sift the flour and stir in. Quickly knead into a dough, wrap in cling film, and refrigerate for 2 hours. Form small balls and, using the handle of a wooden spoon, press a hollow into the center (careful not to tear the edges). Place on baking paper. Bake at 150°C (fan oven) for about 10 minutes until light brown. Heat the jelly while stirring until smooth. Fill the balls with the jelly and, once cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
