Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 chili peppers (Habaneros or 1 Bhut Jolokia)
  • 1 small can of tomatoes, peeled
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 small carrot(s)
  • ½ apple
  • 75 ml juice (multivitamin juice)
  • some salt
  • 1 pinch of allspice
  • some vegetable oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

fruity and very spicy

Dice the onions and carrots and sauté in a small saucepan with a little oil until translucent. Add the chopped chilies, toss briefly, and pour in the juice and tomatoes. Add the peeled and diced apple and simmer until tender. Purée the salsa and season with salt and allspice.
