Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 150 g sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 200 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 3 cups of cream
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 packs of cream stiffener
  • 2 bars of chocolate (Milka chocolate, any flavor)

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

For the base, first mix the sugar and baking powder with the hazelnuts. Separate the eggs and add the yolks. Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form and carefully fold them into the other ingredients. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake at 180°C for 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool. For the topping: Combine the cream and vanilla sugar and beat with a mixer, adding the cream stabilizer as you go. Heat the Milka chocolate in a double boiler and carefully fold it into the cream. Smooth it out and refrigerate for one hour. Decorate if desired. Enjoy!
