Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 320 g flour (type 550)
  • 80 g flour (type 405)
  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp tea powder (Matcha)
  • 1 pack of yeast
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Fat for the mold
  • semolina for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Bread with matcha (tea powder)

Mix the sugar, yeast, and milk. Place the remaining ingredients, except for the fat and semolina, in a mixing bowl. Pour the milk mixture into the mixing bowl and mix with a hand mixer fitted with the dough hook until you have a smooth dough. Grease the inside of the baking pan – a loaf pan is ideal. Add a little semolina and shake the pan back and forth to ensure the semolina is evenly distributed. Pour the dough into the baking pan, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Bake the bread for 25-30 minutes at 180°C (350°F) fan-assisted oven. Check the bread occasionally during baking. If the top is getting too dark, remove the bread, cover with aluminum foil, and continue baking. Let the bread cool completely. Remove from the pan.
