Spicy Pear and Goat Cheese Flatbread
The perfect spicy pear and goat cheese flatbread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
for the dough:
- 150 g Wholemeal spelled flour
- 100 g Rye flour
- 0,5 tsp Tartar baking powder
- 120 ml Milk or water
- 1 Msp Salt
- 1 Pc. Grated carrot
- 70 g Coconut oil or softened butter
- 0,5 tsp Ground caraway seeds
for covering:
- 4 Pc. Pears
- 1 Pc. Small zucchini
- 150 g Goat cream cheese
- 2 tbsp Rosemary needles
- 1 tsp Honey
- Salt pepper
- 4 tbsp Pecans
- Chilli flakes at will
- Quickly knead the ingredients for the dough into a smooth dough. If the dough is too dry, just add a little more water, if it is too moist, knead in a little more flour. Cover and refrigerate the dough until you are ready to use it again or roll it out onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Brush the rolled out dough with goat cream cheese. Spread the sliced zucchini and pear pieces on top. Season to taste with salt, pepper and chilli flakes. Roughly chop the nuts and spread over them with the rosemary needles. Drizzle with honey.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes with top / bottom heat on the middle rack. Tastes warm and cold.
